Brontos & Brews Festival: A Day of Dinosaur Fun at Dinosaur Ridge!

We are no long accepting online registrations. You may purchase tickets at the door.

Join us on Saturday, June 16, from 10 am-4 pm for a family-friendly carnival, adults can enjoy the beer garden with multiple Colorado breweries and live music, and don't miss our attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most people dressed in dinosaur costumes!

Due to this special event, Dinosaur Ridge WILL NOT be offering guided shuttle bus tours on Saturday, June 16. Parking will be offsite for our main visitor center and will cost $5. See PARKING details below.

- Visitors are welcome to walk the Ridge all day

- Our main exhibit hall WILL BE open, but you must park offsite ($5) and take a shuttle to the visitor center grounds

- The Discovery Center at 17681 W. Alameda Parkway; Red Rocks Entrance #1 will be open all day and parking there is free

- We will resume bus tours on Sunday, June 17.

BRONTOS & BREWS SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

10 am-4 pm   Family-Friendly Carnival. Kids can purchase tickets to enjoy dinosaur-themed games, win prizes, jump in the dinosaur bounce house, and enjoy some cotton candy!

12 pm            Guinness World Record Attempt: We will attempt to break the Guinness World record for "The Most People Dressed in Dinosaur Costumes"

1 pm-4 pm     Beer Garden is open! Enjoy a beer from one of multiple Colorado breweries. Grab a bite from the food trucks. Enjoy live music!

CARNIVAL:

 Enjoy the dinosaur bounce castle, gold panning, track painting, Dinosaur Poop-tastic!, Catch the Dinosaur fishing game, Cotton Candy, and more!

18 tickets will allow your child to participate in every game and activity once.
   Pre-puchase your ticket pack: 18 tickets for $7.
   Tickets will be sold on-site: 1 @ $0.50; 11 @ $5; 24 @ $10; 52 @ $20

GUINNESS ATTEMPT:

Help us break the world record for most people dressed in dinosaur costumes!! Dinosaur Ridge will go down in history!

It costs nothing to participate, but Guinness has specific regulations about what qualifies as a record-breaking costume. Please click here to download the restrictions and suggested places to order your costume.

WE ARE NO LONGER SELLING DINOSAUR COSTUMES, but please bring your own and join us.

If you are joining us for the Guinness Attempt, please plan to arrive at the off-site parking (see Parking info below) NO LATER THAN NOON. You will be transported to the event site by shuttle or bus and will need time to check in, pick up your costume if you purchased ahead of time, and find your steward to have your costume approved. Our attempt will occur at 1 pm SHARP!

 

BEER EVENT:

 Enjoy one 16 oz. beer from the Colorado craft brewery of your choice while listening to live music!

Walk-up tickets on the day of the event wi be:
   $20 for Dinosaur Ridge members. (Click here to check out membership benefits and become a member today!)
   $25 for non-members

Your ticket gets you a wristband for admittance to the beer garden, a commemorative beer vessel, one 16-oz. drink from the brewery of your choice, and the opportunity to give back to Dinosaur Ridge. Additional beers will be available for purchase from the breweries after you've claimed your free drink. IN ORDER TO BE ADMITTED TO THE BEER GARDEN, YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND MUST PROVIDE VALID PHOTO ID (Passport OR Driver's License).

 

PARKING:

Parking will be offsite at a Bandimere overflow lot (the CDL Driver Training Lot). The physical address to put in for mapping is: 2850 S. Rooney Road, Morrison, CO 80465. You will be parking at this lot and then taking a bus or shuttle to the Visitor Center for the event. These buses will be available later in the day to take you back to the parking lot. Parking will cost $5 on the day of the events. Please bring cash!

Join us for the full day of fun or pick and choose the portions that you like best. Either way, you are supporting Dinosaur Ridge: your favorite National Natural Landmark and nonprofit organization!
