YES! Dinosaur Ridge is open during the government shutdown*. AND…We are very pleased to offer FREE guided bus tours and FREE entrance to our exhibit hall for any federal employee on furlough due to the government shutdown and their immediate family (up to 4 people total). *Dinosaur Ridge is a National Natural Landmark–not a National Park. All facilities, programs, and operations are run by a nonprofit organization, Friends of Dinosaur Ridge (FODR). We are pleased to have regular opportunities to partner with worthy organizations such as the National Park Service, Colorado State Parks, and Jefferson County Open Space. We do not receive federal funding, and donations to FODR help support our preservation and education programs.
