Dinosaur Discovery Day: Reptile Day!
Join the Friends of Dinosaur Ridge on Saturday July 10th from 10:00-2:30 for some reptile fun! Special guests include The Denver Zoo, The Wildlife Experience, Wild Wings and the Morrison Natural History Museum – and more!

Volunteers will be stationed along the Ridge trail to point out and interpret fossils and geology for visitors. The event is free if you'd like to hike it with an optional bus ride that's $3.00 per person, five and under riding free.

Come explore and celebrate reptiles by petting live snakes, turtles, even a small alligator! You can also see the modern-day relatives of meat-eating dinosaurs, the birds, at the Wild Wings table. They’ll be displaying live raptors, such as hawks, owls, and falcons!

Activities and live animals will be located at the Visitor Center under tents for their safety and comfort. Other hands-on activities include dinosaur digging, dinosaur tracking, track painting, gold panning and fossil sifting!

Bus rides are $3.00 per person, five and under rides free. Off-site parking will be available if needed.
