One of the most popular ways to explore Dinosaur Ridge is on a guided
tour. Guided tours can accommodate most sized groups and the length
and content of the tour can be tailored to fit your needs. Cost:
$2/student for academic school groups; $3/person all other groups.

Dinosaur Discovery Days
During the summer months, we close the road over Dinosaur Ridge one day per
month. Guides are available to answer your questions and give
demonstrations. Cost: Free Admission; Optional Shuttle Bus
Transportation is $2/person.

Looking for an in-depth look at a particular topic? During the winter, we
offer a series of professionally-oriented slide shows and lectures
covering paleontology and geology. Cost: Free Admission, Donations

The Dig Pit
Examine a Cretaceous Crime Scene in our "Backyard Bones" Dig Pit and
see if you can solve the mystery. The Dig Pit is available for
free use during any drop-in visit to the Visitor Center, or if you
prefer, we also offer structured, guided programs.

Teacher Training
Each year, the Friends of Dinosaur Ridge offer teacher credit through a
continuing education course offered through the Colorado School of
Mines.
