Welcome to!

A Brachiosaurus-sized thank you to all of our guests, vendors, partners, and sponsors that spent
June 19th-21st with us for our Dinosaur Train event!

Explore our website to see all that Dinosaur Ridge has to offer!

Visit our About Us section to learn about how our Exhibits and trails here at Dinosaur Ridge and at Triceratops Trail were created to help the public explore ancient Colorado and the creatures that once lived here.

Walk with 90-foot, long-necked giants across a floodplain lined with streams, ponds, and watering holes!  Trace the ripple patterns left by Colorado’s ocean on Morrison’s sandy beaches!  Muck through Golden’s swamp under the shade of palm trees with Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus rex at Triceratops Trail!

Come have an adventure at Dinosaur Ridge!

In Memory of Herbert Duey

Herbert “Herb” Duey is another Friend of Dinosaur Ridge that we have lost. A geologist by trade, Herb never passed up a moment when his kids were younger to bring them over to Dinosaur Ridge to hike up the roadway and onto the Dakota Trail to explore the rocks and fossils. With his passing, his son Chuck Duey has requested that donations be made in Herb’s name to Dinosaur Ridge. With these funds we will purchase a picnic table with an engraved plate bearing his name.

Please make checks payable to Dinosaur Ridge or stop in if you are local to make a donation in our gift shop.
