Dinosaur Ridge reopened our Main Visitor Center on Saturday, May 9.
You can safely roam and run, learn and debate, and enjoy a National Natural Landmark in Denver’s backyard. Learn more about our new protocols and processes.
New at Dinosaur Ridge
- We’ve added an online education portal for dinosaur-lovers of all ages to learn and explore.
- You can download our new Audio Tour and experience Dinosaur Ridge Trail on the trail, on your phone! And, even from your couch!
If you have a small group or are coming with your family, these tours are available daily from our Main Visitor Center.
If you are a teacher, summer camp, home school group, daycare center, or senior center, consider coming to Dinosaur Ridge for one of our educational tours!
Are you looking for a great day camp for your kiddo? Check out our paleontology and geology camps, offered on occasional Jeffco schools off-days and fall, winter, and spring break. Plus, check out our five-day summer camps!
This preschool (2-5 years) craft and storytime program is fun for budding junior paleontologists!
Enjoy an adventure with us! Dinosaur Ridge hosts day trips and longer weekend excursions to dig sites, unique fossil and geologic areas, and even to other museums and organizations.
These free days take place the second Saturday of the month between May and October and are open to any that would like to attend. Special guests and themes are unique for each event. Scout event information can be found in this section.
See what we’re doing all year.
Come celebrate with us. Our birthday parties are one great prehistoric adventure!
