Dinosaur Ridge Information Resources
We always want our visitors, guests, and locals to be in-the-know when it comes to the Coronavirus, weather, road conditions, and more. This is our communications center and we’ll update as new information becomes available.
Dinosaur Ridge Program & Business Operations are Closed
Dinosaur Ridge will be suspending all program and business operations, starting Monday, March 16 through Sunday, March 29. Our goal is to protect staff, volunteers, and visitors and those whom those people might come into contact with, from the extreme transmissibility of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
It is possible the shutdown will extend past March 29th as we monitor the situation and take recommendations from the county, state, and national health officials.
Please note, the Ridge itself is open for walking and bicycles.

Difficult Decisions Ahead: A Message from the Executive Director
Unfortunately, the decision to suspend operations causes an unprecedented financial hardship for our organization and staff. A large portion of our income comes from tour bus and gift shop sales during this popular time of the year. The loss of that income will drive further heart-breaking decisions for our organization and work. We welcome donations now or in the future. Thank you for considering a special donation during this time.
Dinosaur Ridge is nestled right at the base of the foothills and our road conditions can be quite different than folks farther east. Check out the real-time CDOT cameras for the latest.
