2026 is Colorado’s 150th anniversary, also known as its sesquicentennial! You’re invited to explore a part of the state famous for its natural history just 20 minutes west of Denver. Today is free entry to our Exhibit Hall and $5 off bus tours. Have a fun and educational outdoor experience that is great for all ages and see the place where Colorado’s state fossil, the Stegosaurus, was uncovered 150 years ago.
