Rock Out For the Ridge: Sesquicentennial Saloon!

It's time to commemorate Colorado's sesquicentennial with a fun evening of saloon style entertainment! After all, 1876 is the year Colorado's state fossil, the Stegosaurus, was first spotted by geologist Arthur Lakes on the hogback we now call Dinosaur Ridge! So dress up (there will be a contest & prizes), get ready to eat, drink, play some games (dealers will teach you how to play poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette if you need guidance), enjoy the music, a photo booth, a silent auction, a wine and whiskey pull, and more to benefit Friends of Dinosaur Ridge! Tickets are on sale now! $150 for a single, $250 per couple, and $1,500 for a table of 10.

1876 was an historic year for Colorado–as we commemorate the sesquicentennial together, we will close out a $750,000 capital campaign to remodel the Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center and open with an incredible new exhibition called the Deep Time Detour! But tonight is about dressing up and having fun playing casino games, enjoying the best food, drinks, and desserts in the West, entertaining music, a photo booth, a wine & whiskey pull, a costume contest, and a silent auction filled with wonderful Colorado items to bid on! Round up some friends and family (or come on your own) and we shall party like it’s 1876!
