What You’ll Find at the Main Visitor Center
Outdoor & Indoor Exhibits
The Exhibit Hall features paleo-murals, fossil replicas and real fossil bones of giant long-necked dinosaurs.
Gift Shop
Pick up maps for hiking, purchase tickets for shuttle bus tours and the Exhibit Hall, shop for unique souvenirs and buy snacks and drinks.
Hands-on Experiences
Small kids can dig for souvenir fossils in the Benton Seaway Box, bigger kids enjoy uncovering dinosaur fossils in the Backyard Bones pit, everyone loves taking photos with the dinosaur replicas, and giving Sluice Mining a try.
Exhibit Hall
The indoor Exhibit Hall features real and replica displays. Experienced Docents are available to answer questions. Admission is $4 per person, or free for those who take a guided bus or walking tour.
Dig Areas
Kids love playing in the dig areas. Enjoy a simulated dinosaur dig that teaches kids how paleontologists search for fossil evidence or sift for fossils and shark teeth in the seaway fossil sandbox.
Gift Shop
Where you can purchase bus tour tickets, pick up a map, get info and shop for souvenirs.
