Your membership supports our missions of fossil protection and education about the amazing geo-heritage at Dinosaur Ridge, Triceratops Trail, and other sites within the Morrison-Golden Fossil Areas National Natural Landmark.
Dinosaur Ridge is a 501(c)(3) organization that relies on donations in order to:
- Educate 13,000+ school children each year
- Provide free tours to low-income school groups
- Educate thousands of annual visitors with tours and interpretive signage
- Advocate for protective measures to preserve animal and plant fossils in-situ
- Expand educational programming to include outreaches, kids camps, field trips, and other special programs
- Preserve a non-renewable resource for generations to come
- Work with visiting scientists to advance research on-site
Membership FAQs
How long is my Membership valid?
Memberships are good for one year from the date of purchase.
Can I set up my Membership to auto-renew?
Yes, this is an option when you sign up. If you are already a member and would like to add this feature, you can send an email to membership@dinoridge.org.
Will I receive a Membership Card?
Yes. Once you enroll as a Member you will receive an email with instructions on how to add your digital membership card to your phone’s Apple or Google Wallet.
How do I add my Membership Card to my phone (Google Wallet/Apple Wallet)?

Is the Membership price tax deductible?
Friends of Dinosaur Ridge is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. We recommend consulting with your tax advisor to determine if your Membership is tax deductible in whole or in part.
Do Members need reservations for Bus or Guided Walking tours?
While reservations are not required, they are recommended in the summer because tours do sell out. Call 303-697-3466 between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. to find out if the date and time you desire has availability.
