Dinosaur Ridge 2023 Fireside Chat Series
Neffra Matthews is a recently retired geographer with the Bureau of Land Management, known for her skill and expertise in photogrammetry. Neffra will share images from her extensive collection taken over the past 25 years, including some just this week, at the Main Tracksite at Dinosaur Ridge and other paleo sites within the Morrison-Fossil Areas National Natural Landmark. She will explain how this tool is used and how the technology evolved to help scientists better study geological features like dinosaur footprints and other trace fossils.
