High School Teams: it’s time for the 5th Annual Dino Ridge Science Quiz Bowl at Colorado School of Mines in Golden! Saturday, October 18, 2025 teams from around the state will come together to show off their science knowledge in a friendly contest modeled after the Knowledge Bowl academic competitions. Hosted on the beautiful campus in the Green Center and at Marquez Hall, teams start with a written round and move into timed oral competition rounds using buzzers to answer questions for points. The top three scoring teams meet on stage in Bunker Auditorium where Rocky Mountain PBS cameras will capture the action for a 30-minute show to run on the network at a date tba. Top teams win trophies and students from those teams who go on to enroll as STEM majors receive $500 college scholarships! All participants receive T-shirts, snakcs, and exclusive Dino Ridge swag!
